Missionary Boot Camp

We are running the final lap of this 3 week intensive missionary training here in Colorado. Your probably thinking "you lucky dogs...Colorado in December!!!" and you would be right but not because of the awesomeness of the spectacularly awesome scenery. This program is literally changing my life for the better. By God's grace, I will be a better follower of Christ, a more awesome husband, a much more sensitive father, a wiser missionary and if God ever places us in a church in America, a more gentle shepherd. Why are we in Colorado?

I was confused which airport we were in but now that we've settled into 3 weeks of Missionary boot camp in beautiful Colorado..I feel a little settled...my clothes are actually in a drawer and not in my silver hardsided suitcase or on the floor of whatever room we've been given for a night. I can relate to Jesus.."no place to lay his head"

We will be speaking at several churches in New York, going to Indianapolis for new missionary orientation and speaking at the Free Methodist European Conference in Belgium all in October and November! To top it off we get to see our youngest, Katie and her new husband Bradley in Maryland!

I'm so glad I brought such joy to my son-in-law at the Puyallup fair near Tacoma, Washington. The Extreme Scream shoots you up at 8 "g"s, bounces you a few times then hauls you to the top and drops you at about the same force! No bueno!

The Rockies are beautiful but have you ever heard of Bonners Ferry, Idaho? We stayed with our friends on Saturday and then spoke in their church on Sunday. We are blessed to have such wonderful friends!
